News & Announcements
CPC Endorses Measure T
Measure T seeks to provide $4.5 million annually to maintain our quality high school instruction and help recruit and retain our top teachers. That’s why Campo Parents Club voted to endorse Measure T at our meeting on March 18th.
One of our roles as a parents club is to advocate for our students, and sometimes that means making sure that we have the funding that our schools need to provide an excellent education for all of our students. We encourage you to educate yourself on this measure, vote on May 6th, encourage other residents to do the same and volunteer if you are able.
Learn more about why we need Measure T on our AUHSD page.
VOLUNTEER:
Measure T is on the May 6th special election ballot, and we need your help getting the word out to voters during this off-year election. This measure needs to pass by a two-thirds vote. Turning out parent voters will be CRITICAL to our success. Here’s how you can help:
Join us for a neighborhood walk: Knocking on doors is one of the most effective ways to reach voters. Learn how to do one and Request a recording of the training here. (High school students can volunteer too and get service hours!)
Endorse the campaign: Join local leaders, teachers, and parents by adding your name to our growing list of supporters. Endorse Measure T using this link.
Display a lawn sign: Help us spread awareness about the campaign by displaying a lawn sign. You can request one here!

Let's Show Our Love For Campo!
The Moraga Education Foundation (MEF) gives a grant to Campolindo every year, funding 17 additional class sections in all academic departments, department grants benefitting every student, and student support and wellness programs. Read more here.
The community-funded MEF grant makes an incredible difference for Campo students, which is why the Campo Parents Club is asking that you participate in the MEF Giving Campaign!
MEF is 75% of the way towards meeting its fundraising goal of $3M. Every student benefits from MEF grants, but only 44% of Campo families have contributed to the Giving Campaign so far. Let’s increase that percentage - if you haven’t already, please participate in the Giving Campaign at the level that is right for you by making your contribution here. Every contribution makes a difference!!
The Parents Club and MEF work together to support Campo students. Let’s show our LOVE for Campolindo by.
NATIONAL PTA'S EFFORT TO SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION
Although Campo Parents Club is NOT a PTA, one of our functions is to engage in advocacy for our students. We look to our local PTA council for guidance on legislation and sometimes participate in their activities. The local Las Trampas Council of PTAs and National PTA support public education. They would like to share this information and for our members to take action to lend your voice to the National PTA's opposition to the Educational Choice for Children Act which is a measure in support of national school vouchers that is a threat to public education accessibility and funding. If you would like to support this effort, you can see HERE for more information, including a tool to compose a message to our local congressperson.
